How much does it cost?

IELTS test fees vary each year. Worldwise Consultants will inform you of the current fee for your selected session in local currency.

How do I book/register for the test?

Worldwise Consultants is an official facilitation center for the British Council, authorized to register candidates for the IELTS test. Contact our admissions team to get started with your registration.

Can I postpone or cancel my IELTS test?

Yes, you can get in touch with us for further instructions. If you postpone or cancel your test within 5 weeks of the test date, you will be charged the full test fee—unless you have a valid medical reason.

Are all parts of the test conducted on the same day?

The IELTS test includes four language skills. Listening, Reading, and Writing sections are completed one after the other without a break. The Speaking test may be scheduled up to 7 days before or after the main test date.

What are the test rules?

All guidelines and rules are outlined in the Notice to Candidates document provided with your application. We highly recommend reading the Information for Candidates booklet to fully understand the format and what to expect on test day.

What can I take into the exam room?

You may bring pencils, erasers, pens, and the original passport or national ID used on your application form. No other items are allowed.

What is the Speaking test?

The Speaking section is a 15-minute face-to-face conversation with a certified IELTS examiner.

Will I hear specific accents in the Listening and Speaking tests?

A range of English accents is used in the test to reflect international usage.

Can I write in capital letters?

Yes, you can write your answers in all capital letters for the Reading, Listening, and even the Writing sections if you prefer.

How are the tests marked?

IELTS uses a 9-band scoring system. Each section—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking—is scored individually, and you will also receive an Overall Band Score.

When will I receive my test results?

You will receive your Test Report Form (TRF) 13 calendar days after your test date. You may collect it directly from Worldwise Consultants.

How soon can I take the test again?

You may retake the IELTS test on the next available date—there is no waiting period.

What if I am not satisfied with my results?

You can request an Enquiry on Results if you believe your scores should be reviewed.
